“Paint us an angel with the floating violet robe and a face paled by the celestial light” -George Eliot, English novelist
Based in Central California, Frank Eber is an artist working in both watercolor and oils. His body of work inspires an emotional response to Nature and Beauty, resulting in timeless, enduring artwork.
Frank’s paintings tell stories of times and places that viewers feel they know. His unique use of contrast and light evoke emotions and memories. Like dreams his works feel familiar yet strangely enigmatic.
Conveying atmosphere and mystery is Frank’s specialty. In fact, it is the basis of all his work and teaching.
Frank is proud to be represented by The Gallery AG in Arroyo Grande in California, the Crossgate Gallery in Kentucky and Ambleside Gallery in North Carolina.
Frank has taught for the Yosemite Conservancy from 2013 to 2019 without any compensation to support the preservation efforts of the organization.
